With over two decades of experience in the mortgage industry, Mewael has worked at all levels of the business, holding previous positions as a Loan Originator, Branch Manager, Executive Vice President of Operations, Chief Production Officer, and most recently Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As CEO, Mewael brings together the sales and operations teams to achieve an integrated high-quality customer experience. Continually implementing efficiency opportunities, Mewael strives to optimize the NRL lending process every step of the way, achieving some of the fastest turn times in the industry. Just as passionate about the employee and branch experience, Mewael embodies NRL’s ICARE values. He leads with an emphasis on transparency, relationships, and compassion. Mewael has an FHA Direct Endorsement certification and is a member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association and the National Mortgage Bankers Association. He is a native Houstonian who attended the University of Texas at Austin. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing golf and rooting for his favorite sports teams - the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets, and the Texas Longhorns. In addition to being honored internally for the customer experience, the Group has been awarded the distinguished Top Workplaces Achievement by the Cincinnati Enquire for six consecutive years. With his tenacity for hard work and passion for helping others, it is unsurprising Caveh and the Mount Adams Group continue to shatter production records and expand throughout the country.

Ron's extensive experience, commitment to excellence, caring, and his compassionate style are his greatest strengths as a leader. His career in the mortgage industry started in 2001 on the front lines for another national lender. NRL Mortgage capitalized on Ron's skills to help expand their team. In his first year at NRL, he grew the company from 200 million in volume to 400 million in annual sales - more than doubling the volume. Currently originating about $3.0BB in annual residential mortgages, with over 60 locations, licensed in 48 states. As President and Chairman of the Board of NRL, he believes in taking care of clients and getting the deal done. Ron’s vision is to grow NRL into one of the top mortgage companies in the country. Some of Ron’s awards are, a Top 40 under 40 Rising-Star Award from Housing Wire, a national housing publication, the Next 40 Mortgage Professionals to Watch from the National Mortgage Professional, the Hot 100 by Mortgage Professionals of America, the Who’s Who in Real Estate by Houston Agent Magazine and Ron was also honored as a Most Admired CEO by the Houston Business Journal. Ron is also very active in the local community and is an active member of the Texas Association of Mortgage Bankers Association as well as the National Mortgage Bankers Association. He is a Houston native and left only for a short while to attend the University of Texas in Austin, graduating in 2001 with a BA in Economics. Ron is also a Harvard Alumni from Harvard Business School. He returned to his roots in Houston, where he now lives with his wife and their three children.

Michael Allen

Chief Secondary Officer

Michael entered the mortgage industry in 1999 as a loan processor, soon progressing to loan originator and then branch manager. Since co-founding Nations Reliable Lending in 2007, Michael has played a pivotal role in the company's growth. He has served in many departments at NRL Mortgage, including Underwriting and Credit. A member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association and the National Mortgage Bankers Association, Michael also holds an FHA Direct Endorsement. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Texas A&M. Michael enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family in Houston.

Kevin Murphy

Chief Operations Officer & General Counsel

Kevin is a highly accomplished mortgage executive with 24 years of experience leading large-scale teams on multiple continents. Kevin is licensed to practice law in Texas and is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Residential Appraiser. He holds a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a law degree from South Texas College of Law. Kevin enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family in Houston.

Joe DeDominicis

Chief Financial Officer & Chief Technology Officer

Joe leads the Accounting, Treasury, Finance, Information Technology, and Compliance activities at NRL Mortgage. He began his mortgage banking career over 30 years ago and has held senior leadership roles with First Franklin, Clayton Holdings, FirstCity, SN Servicing, National City and Vantium Capital. Joe brings a unique combination of skills and experience, combining accounting and finance, risk management, operations, and portfolio management. He is a member of the National Mortgage Bankers Association and lives in the Houston area with his wife and three daughters. Joe completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Maryland at College Park and is a licensed CPA (inactive).

Matt Kovach

Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer

Matt began his mortgage career in 1998 as a loan officer assistant and quickly moved into a loan officer role, where he became a top producer for the company averaging over 120 loans per year. With over 23 years of experience, Matt has gained extensive knowledge of both the sales and operational sides of the mortgage industry. He has a proven track record of implementing company-defining strategies and initiatives to help drive volume and improve efficiencies. Matt is a member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, the National Mortgage Bankers Association, and a past president of Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County in Houston, Texas. He enjoys spending his free time with his family (especially his dogs), trying new restaurants, and going to the movies.
