I’ve been with NRL for 8 years now. I’ve been with other companies and by far, this has taken me to another level. From the support staff, branch support to disclosure desk, all the way to the funding department, every single department has rock stars that show up when we need them to get the loans closed. It’s unbelievable. I’ve gone from closing 1-2 loans per month to 15. It’s been an amazing ride and I’m proud to be part of this group.
The corporate culture. Anyone could have amazing rates, programs, turn-times, or support staff, and we have all of those things, but the corporate culture is where we excel. Everyone has that “go above and beyond” mentality where they are willing to help you out, regardless of what time of day it is, even it’s on the weekend. That’s what makes NRL stand apart.
I got into this industry in 2012 when I started with NRL. My primary driver was when I bought my first house in 2011, the process was miserable. It took over 60 days and I felt like I had no help throughout the process. I wanted to change that. My goal has been and will continue to be, to make sure the clients that I help, the people that I talk to everyday, feel like they have someone holding their hand. Someone who can guide them through the complicated process of purchasing a home.

I’ve always loved the feeling of getting someone into a house, just being able to shake their hand, give them the keys, and say, “Congratulations.” It’s a great feeling. I also love coaching loan officers to be able to do more and more of that every day.
